Slater Designs Gamma LFT Surfboard
Crafted to keep up with the best, the Slater Designs Surfboards Gamma LFT Surfboard knows how to feed your wave riding addiction. Though Kelly has worked with several great shapers this past year on an array of different shapes, it was his excitement with the speed and quick direction changes provided by this personal design that held his intrigue. His interest in Cad board design, modifying variables, and testing and retesting has lead to the development of an incredible all around shortboard. The highly functional, easy executing Slater Designs Gamma was the result.
With a single concave bottom and slight vee behind the back fin this board is extremely fast and drivey. The vee out the back makes for quick rail to rail transitions. Within the high-performance shortboard range, this would be considered a medium rocker, with a medium, to even a slightly pinched rail. The distinct hip on the Gamma gives it a tighter turning radius allowing it to be ridden in a shorter, wider set of dimensions as well as the common performance shortboard dims. Sure to be underfoot on this year's title run, the Gamma is Kelly’s go to utility shortboard for the season.

Linear Flex Technology - LFT
LFT incorporates Firewire’s SPRINGER HD, a 0.75” (18 mm) wide aerospace composite that runs down the centerline of the board, representing the next generation in our SPRINGER technology. The SPRINGER HD runs the entire length of the board and plays a pivotal role in optimizing flex from nose to tail. LTF’s deckskin serves as an additional buffer against the ridging effect that center stringers create over time, while simultaneously working in tandem with the SPRINGER HD to optimize the overall flex pattern of the LFT technology.

Surfboard Return Policy
You may return any new stock surfboard if it meets the following terms and conditions:
- The surfboard was purchased new from our stock and was not special order
- The surfboard must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- The surfboard must be in new condition: never ridden or used in the water, never waxed, or damaged.
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, insurance, and any damage in transit.
- A $50 restocking fee is applied to a new surfboard return.

Here’s how it works. Once an order is placed we contact Firewire promptly to confirm your board is in stock. Once confirmed the average wait time for a board to ship is 3 business days. Additionally transit time is 1 to 5 business days depending on where you are located. Most boards are ready to go, however, if there is any extended delay in shipping your board we will let you know right away.
